“Elise Nieshella, president of the Boone County Council, points to her money managing experience in both the private and public sectors as proof that she’s right for the job. Nieshella, 49, has been a real estate investor for 20 years. She also serves as the vice president of the Indiana County Councils Association and on the Board of Directors for the Association of Indiana Counties.

Nieshella, who was named 2018 Indiana County Councilor of the Year, also said she served on Mitch Daniels’ economic development policy team when he was a gubernatorial candidate. Her list of endorsements includes four state lawmakers, as well as Indiana Senate chief of staff and general counsel Jeff Papa and the Boone County party chair.

‘Indiana’s constitutional officers have an important responsibility to defend our state from the creeping, socialist overreach of the Biden Administration and the extreme liberals in Congress,’ Nieshalla said in a statement. ‘Together, we’ll fight the Democrats’ efforts to turn America into a socialist country and defend the effective America First policies of President Trump and Vice President Pence.’

Nieshella has a master’s degree in public affairs from Indiana University and a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Oral Roberts University.”
